Walking a tightrope
As geopolitical and interest rates risks test the nerves of already unsettled markets, we anticipate growth in developed economies will continue to slow over the next few quarters as fiscal policies continue to normalise and the lagged effects of monetary policy feed through. We maintain our expectations surrounding strong US resilience compared to the Eurozone and UK. In the meantime, China's outlook remains disappointing despite continued efforts to defend its currency.
