Resilient economy, waning momentum
As monetary policy tightens and fiscal policy normalizes, we foresee a modest slowdown in developed economies. The US remains resilient with a robust labour market and normalising inflation, while European economies may lag due to wage and inflation discrepancies. China's outlook is disappointing, especially in the real estate sector. Central banks, nearing their rate-hiking peak, will await signs that core inflation is under control.
